It’s moving time at the Cloth Nappy Shop! Not going too far, just 10mins down the road to Shailer Park.
The next week or 2 will be a bit interrupted while all the stock is packed up and moved, but hopefully (if all goes according to plan) everything will be moved and sorted in time for the monthly information morning/get-together on Tuesday 6th July. School holidays start at the end of this week, which could be a good thing (more hands to help out) or a bad thing, depending on the co-operation of my 4 ‘helpers’!

and yes, it’s official, I’ve totally neglected this poor blog for too long! In my defence though, I have managed to get a lot of things crossed off my To Do list!
Next week is school holidays, so I just wanted to let you all know ahead of time that my opening hours will probably be a little unpredictable for the week while I juggle all the kids along with work responsibilities.
If you’re planning on heading down to the shop, it might be a good idea to give me a quick call (0419 144 689) just to double check whether I’m already there or not! Rest assured that it only takes 10mins to get there after you call me if I wasn’t already open, and I’m more than happy to open up for you - it’s just easier for all concerned to not make the kids come to work with me for the whole week!

Well we had a huge weekend at the Sustainability Fair. It was great to see so many people there and interested in MCN.
New on the shelf at the shop we have a small selection of soaps from Kelly at Fresh Cut Soap Co. For around $5.50 each these would make great Christmas presents!
The trade day is coming up and the date has been changed slightly. We have decided it will be on the first Tuesday in December so on the 1st from 10.30. It is going to be like a pay it forward - in other words anything that you get from the day we would prefer it if when you are finished using the item, that it was forwarded to someone else who can use it or donated to charity. It’s just our way of sharing the love, so to speak.
School holidays are coming up fast (along with Christmas - eek!!)
There will be some changes to opening hours over this time - the shop will be open as per usual up until 18/12/2009 and by appointment only through the Christmas/New Year period. If you need something during this time, please don’t hesitate to contact me about coming down to the shop, either via email or on my mobile (0419 144 689). Orders placed through the website/by email will be processed as normal.
We will be closed from 11/1/2010 through to the end of January, re-opening on 1/2/2010. Orders placed via the website or email during this time will not be processed until February.
