Yep, you guessed it, we’ve all been hit by the winter sniffles that have been going around. It is truly amazing how many tissues a family of 6 can go through in a week! (been trying to convince them that hankies are a good alternative, but not having much luck yet!) Things are getting back to normal though now, which is good, because last week I felt rather like I’d been hit by a freight train!
The good news for the week is that microfleece is back in stock! YAY!!!
Thirteen gorgeous colours to choose from - details and photos will be up on the website in the next couple of days, once my internet is no longer speed-limited (but that’s another whinge altogether, so I’ll save that for another post!)
Finding space for all the rolls at the shop is going to be an interesting exercise though! *giggle*
I’ve also got minkee/Malden Mills fleece covers in stock at the shop, again details should be uploaded to the website very soon! Otherwise feel free to email me for details.
And last but not least, there’s some new products that will be available at the shop soon - Popit nappies, from NZ, and a range of ribbon goodies from Ribbonista. Oh, and a few special products from Pookey Pockets will be previewing at Ozebaby later next month, so stay tuned…

I’m waiting on some microfleece before I can get these sewn and listed, but thought I’d post some photos to give you an idea of what’s in store in the coming weeks. Mandy has been very busy!

Today I’m feeling totally miserable (horrid snotty cold that came out of nowhere!) so instead of trying to do anything constructive I thought I’d do some long overdue blog updating, and tell you about

It will be in the western suburbs of Brisbane, at River Hills - I don’t have a set opening date yet, but will be updating (semi-)regularly on here as the fit-out progresses. If you hadn’t guessed, lol, I’m pretty excited!!
There will be nappies (of course!) hopefully a good variety of brands of MCN and accessories.
Plus you will also be able to get all the supplies you need for making your own nappies - hemp, bamboo, PUL, microfleece, 80% cotton velour, snaps, velcro/touchtape, elastic, and more.
Maybe even wool and knitting gear ;o)
A snap service for snap repairs and/or snapping nappies you have sewn.
We’re also looking at running small nappy sewing workshops if there is interest.
Plus lots more ever-evolving ideas!!
So there it is - a real-life shop, where you can see and touch the nappies before you buy them. Plus you can see and feel the fabrics, and ask questions about nappy making and fabric combinations etc.
And then take everything home with you straight away - no waiting for that fluffy-mail fix! What more could you want?? ;o)
