Yes ladies and gentlemen, we’re in the middle of another nappy hunt! Incidentally, Hunters, if you’re here and reading this, I’m afraid you’ve come a bit too far - you might need to look more closely at the link that brought you here! shhh!
As usual, nappy hunting season is busy busy busy round here! I don’t even have time to do much hunting for myself (other than the extreme sites of course, which are my own personal challenge - just 1 left to go, and not enough time to sit down and do it properly! lucky we’re not even half way through the month yet!)
Anyway, I’ve got quite a few works in progress at the moment - orders that are nearly completed, and a few green goodies for this month’s Gossamer Dreams stocking which is coming up on Sunday 15/3/09. I’ll try to put up some pics tomorrow so you can see what I’ve been up to, but feel free to check out the Gossamer Dreams blog to see what the other ladies are creating for Sunday’s stocking frenzy!

very cryptic statement isn’t it, lol, and one that has been perplexing my 6 yr old son ever since his 9 yr old brother said it to him earlier today!
Despite being officially closed this week, I’ve been working hard getting a couple of orders finished for ladies due very soon! I had intended to post photos to show how industrious I’ve been, lol, but my frazzled brain is obviously not working very well right now, and I forgot to take the photos before the orders got packed up! Now that they’ve been picked up by their new owners it’s too late, and you’ll just have to believe me that I’ve been very busy!
The house looks like a bomb has hit (hmm, nothing new there!) and I have a *lot* of prawns to peel in preparation for Christmas lunch (yep, I’m procrastinating - why else would I be here blogging!)…
but all the presents are wrapped except two - one I need to go back to the shops tonight to exchange part of it before I can wrap it, and the other just needs all the threads snipped and a label sewn on (what do you give a baby for Christmas? a cloth nappy of course! *giggle*)
I’m too tired to cook, dh is still at work, so the kids are getting a treat tonight and pizza has been ordered. So I guess I’d better go and do something about picking it up…

This week just seems to have dragged on forever!
Not sure that I’ve really accomplished all that much, despite the feeling of being busy non-stop! Anyway, I’ve got a custom 6-pack ready to head off to it’s new home, and a big pile of nappies cut out waiting for me to get some uninterrupted time at the sewing machine, lol, so at least there’s something to show! and seeing as it isn’t quite Friday yet, maybe I’ll even get some of that pile sorted before the week is quite finished!
